Brushes are made of a filament blocked between two twisted metal wires.
The result is a brush with one helical (SIMPLE HELICAL brush).
If the brush is mounted on mechanical equipment, the metal rod is usually sheared on both sides. If the use is manual, on one side a part of the rod is free of filament to be used as a handle, usually ending with a circular ring or a plastic handle is welded.
The end of the brush can be folded down, making a small fan of filaments called “fan tip” which is used to prevent the cut wire from damaging the parts to be processed. For this purpose you can also make a “closed tip” with end ring or with the material that fills it up to the end. When a particular sturdiness is required, the brush can be built with four sealing wires, which can mount an M12 threaded connection.
The main feature of the brushes is the small core diameter, which makes them irreplaceable for the internal cleaning of pipes, gutters and interstices that are difficult to access. In addition, their flexibility can be used for cleaning curved surfaces.
